Robert Hicks, PhD, Clinical Professor and Director
Robert F. Hicks, Ph.D., is a Clinical Professor of Organizational Behavior at The University of Texas at Dallas and founding director of the Organizational Behavior, Coaching and Consulting program (OBCC) in the Jindal School of Management. The OBCC program offers a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Organizational Development, as well as, professional and academic certificates in Organizational Consulting, Negotiation and Mediation, and Strategic Human Resources Management.
Dr. Hicks is a licensed psychologist and holds an appointment as an Associate Faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is a recognized expert in leadership development, organizational change, team development, selection and assessment, and the coaching and development of professionals. Dr. Hicks is a regular contributor to the Physician Leadership Journal, a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on medical leadership and health care delivery topics. His latest books are The Process of Highly Effective Coaching (2017) and Coaching as a Leadership Style (2014) published by Routledge.
Teresa Pool, MCC, ACTP Director of Training
Teresa Pool is the ACTP Director of Training for the Executive and Professional Coaching Program at the University of Texas at Dallas Jindal School of Management. Teresa is a Master Certified Coach, specializing in executive performance and business communication. Teresa also serves as a certificate instructor and has coached for the UT Dallas’ Executive MBA Program since 2005. She was 2004 President of the North Texas chapter of the International Coach Federation and continues to mentor developing coaches.
Teresa spent almost two decades in the global technology industry leading organizations, coaching high-potential leaders, developing new services, and creating emerging market strategies. Teresa has coached professionally since January 2000. Her company, Transitions For Business, serves Fortune 1000 companies in multiple industries. In addition to coaching, communication training and strategic facilitation, she inspires change through her published articles, television and radio appearances, and two leadership guides: Focus in the Midst of Chaos and Communication DISCovery.
She combines her joint passions of problem solving and non-profit service to facilitate strategic board sessions and coach key leaders. In 2013, she received the Chairman’s Award for Community Service.
Jan Austin, PhD, MCC
Jan Austin, MS, MPA, MCC is a master coach, leadership program facilitator and author who brings more than twenty years’ experience as an organizational leader and public sector entrepreneur, and thirteen years’ experience as an independent coaching and consulting professional. Since 1998 she has worked with thousands of business leaders in a variety of organizations, including the Fortune 500 and the U.S. Government. In addition, she has mentored hundreds of aspiring organizational and life coaches to establish themselves in the coaching profession. An expert in the area of leadership excellence, Jan Austin is the author of What No One Ever Tells You About Leading For Results (Kaplan, 2006). Ann Betz, CPCC, PCC, CNTC, is the co-founder of BEabove Leadership and an international speaker and trainer on the intersection of neuroscience, coaching and human transformation. Ann served as the neuroscience consultant to The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) for many years, and provides neuroscience, leadership and coaching consulting to many other corporations and non-profits, including the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Tina Elliot MBA, PCC, BCC is known as “The Professionals’ Coach”. She has been supporting high achieving managers and leaders to become powerful, purpose-driven leaders for 18 years. She is a member and a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a Board-Certified Coach through the Center for Credentialing & Education. Tina is Coaching Ethics Specialist with over 14 years of past experience as a Board Member on the ICF’s Independent Review Board processing ethical complaints against coaches. She is passionate about ethics, providing in depth ethics training for coaches so they may "Stay Out of Ethical Hot Water."
Geri England, MS, M.Ed, PCC
Geri England, M.S., M.Ed, is a business/life coach and organization development consultant and has her own coaching/consulting practice in Dallas, TX. She has a diversified background in both corporate and not-for-profit management. She held management positions at Nortel, GTE and Verizon, as well as two regional not-for-profits. During her 20+ years of experience, Geri has designed and delivered individual and group coaching, team-building, and management/leadership training programs, as well as culture change initiatives for Fortune 500 clients in the U.S. and internationally.
Geri holds a BA in Broadfield Social Sciences and M.Ed in Counseling from Texas A&M University and a MS in Business and Human Relations from Amberton University. She is a professional certified coach (CPCC) through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) in San Rafael, CA and a certified master NLP practitioner through NLP Training concepts in Dallas, TX. As a student in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition Coach training program in New York, NY, Geri is developing a niche in Legacy and Lifestyle coaching with an emphasis on helping people live their purpose with passion through social entrepreneurship while experiencing extreme well-being.
Tijen Genco, M.S., PCC
Tijen Genco is a certified Professional Coach, Master Black Belt in Lean/Six Sigma, Certified Mindfulness Teacher. Since 1998 Tijen has worked across a wide variety of fortune 100 companies; regional leaders and country managers of non-profit organizations; entrepreneurs, lawyers, and seasoned coaches globally. Tijen is PCC Marker trained and, certified ACTP assessor and mentor coach for ICF.
Organizationally, Tijen specializes in Executive Coaching, Executive Well-being Coaching, Organizational Development, and Cultural Transformation along with Process Excellence. She provides individual as well as group/team coaching and workshops to corporate clients and private audiences worldwide.

Susan Klein, MCC
Susan Klein, Master Certified Coach, Certified Mentor Coach, Certified Life Planner, is passionate about coaching! As part of the team that founded Coach U, she sat as a member of the advisory board for four years and was faculty for four years. As part of the group that launched the International Coach Federation, Susan was on the Board of Directors for three years, and was Program chair for the annual conference in 2002. She has been on faculty of the UTD Executive Coaching program since it’s inception.
Since 1990, as founder and president of Success Technologies, Inc., she’s specialized in transformational business and executive coaching for managers, executives, small business owners and professionals. Susan’s specialty is coaching for Leadership Development. Her client list includes AT&T, Lucent Technologies, IBM, Toyota, Hewlett-Packard, Pfizer, Merck, as well as radio stations, various small-mid size businesses and non-profits. She develops and conducts a cadre of courses and trainings for managers and executives. Susan has an extensive background in radio advertising sales and management, and advertising.

Tom Krapu, PhD, PCC
Utilizing evidence-based coaching methods, Tom Krapu, PhD, PCC has helped his coaching clients for over 30 years to create relational impact across their organizations that lead to lasting business results. His expertise in 360 feedback methods has led to his consulting in the development and implementation of 360 feedback systems for organizations and coaches in individual or group practices. His executive coaching experience includes working with global executives in diverse sectors of the economy from technology to healthcare, investment, publishing, manufacturing, government and higher education.
Tom has been an adjunct faculty at several institutions of higher learning. At UT Dallas he provides individual and group mentoring and teaches a course on Assessments in Coaching. He has also served in many leadership positions in the ICF.
Dr. Krapu’s education includes a Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of North Dakota, M.A. in Agency Counseling, University of Missouri-Columbia and a B.S. in Psychology, Colorado State University.

Lynn Meinke, PCC brings 30 years of experience in the human services industry, first as a registered nurse, then as a psychotherapist, to the profession of coaching. Lynn has been a certified professional coach for over a decade. She teaches coaching skills internationally with a focus on the development of coaching skills for professionals in organizations. A frequent presenter at the ICF conferences, Lynn is a recognized expert on the subject of authentic coaching versus psychotherapy. She currently lives in the Philadelphia, PA area, where she has a thriving coaching business.

Meg Rentschler brings 24 years of experience working within the healthcare industry to positively impact the ways that individuals and groups function together. In her work as an executive and business coach, she strives to help individuals and teams work more cooperatively and productively. Meg’s extensive experience within the field of psychotherapy has given her a strong background in understanding human interaction and behavior and has been invaluable to her coaching practice.

Diane Whiting is the Assistant Director – Strategic Partnerships for the Organizational Behavior, Coaching and Consulting Program in the UT Dallas Jindal School of Management/Executive Education department. Diane is an Organizational and Leadership Development professional specializing in leadership and high potential development, coaching and transition strategy and facilitation. Diane is an ICF certified coach, an Instructor for the Executive and Professional Coaching Program and a member of the coaching staff for Jindal School of Management’s Executive MBA and Global Leadership MBA Programs.
Diane has spent over ten years as an external consultant to major corporations working for Cap Gemini/Ernst & Young and Deloitte and Touche. She has also spent over ten years in Corporate level leadership development roles in such companies as TXU Energy, Essilor U.S., Baylor Healthcare System, and ACE Cash Express. Diane has her own coaching and consulting business – Authentica, that serves other Fortune 1000 companies. She has completed specialized coach training as a Physician Coach from the Physician Coaching Institute (PCI) in Seattle, Washington. Diane is also on the PCI Advisory Board and is a Menttium Mentor. Diane earned her MS in Organization Development and Change Management degree from UT Dallas. She is a lifelong learner and enjoys traveling, cooking, dancing, reading and is an avid animal lover – and especially Golden Retrievers.
