What are the advantages of Executive Education Programs?

What are the choices for admission?

There are two tracks for the certificates: one with academic credit and one without. The academic certificate may be incorporated into the Master of Science in Leadership and Development with a concentration in Coaching, Negotiation and Mediation, Strategic HR or Organizational Consulting (MS LOD).

Academic Certificate:

  1. 15 hours of graduate level credit that may be applied as a concentration to the MS LODc
  2. Undergraduate degree required as a pre-requisite
  3. Official transcript is available
  4. UTD academic certificate awarded by the university
  5. Veteran’s benefits and employer tuition benefit programs are typically applicable
  6. $13,500 ($900/credit hour or $4500/semester)

Professional Certificate:

  1. An undergraduate degree is not required for admission
  2. No academic credit earned – this coursework cannot be applied to the MS LOD
  3. Certificate earned upon successful completion of the program
  4. May qualify for employer tuition support; confirm with your organization
  5. $12,000 ($6000 due in the first semester and $6000 due in the third semester)

Admission to the Master of Science in Leadership and Development with a concentration in Coaching, Negotiation and Mediation, Strategic HR or Organizational Consulting :

  1. 36 hours of graduate level credit
  2. Undergraduate degree required
  3. Includes the Academic Certificate concentration in Coaching, Negotiation and Mediation, Strategic HR or Organizational Consulting
  4. Eligible for federal financial aid (Stafford Loans)
  5. $32,400 ($900/credit hour)

How does the certificate program work?

The certificate consists of a 12-month program taught entirely online in three consecutive semesters

  1. Fall and Spring cohorts matriculate each year
  2. Classes are delivered in an interactive, virtual classroom
  3. A high quality internet connection leads to a strong classroom experience
  4. Technology allows global connection from mobile devices, tablets and computers
  5. Experienced instructors
  6. Small group practice sessions held weekly with faculty oversight
  7. Classroom lectures recorded and available the next day
  8. Materials and resources housed in eLearning, the university course management platform, and are available 24/7 for two full years
  9. Exams, quizzes and assignments due dates are designed to include weekend time

How do I pay for the program?

Federal Financial Aid

  • The Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Development with a concentration in Coaching, Negotiation and Mediation, Strategic HR or Organizational Consulting two-year degree plan complies with federal guidelines
  • Available aid is determined by FAFSA application results
  • Our Executive Education financial aid specialist assists you; no need to work with the busy financial aid office at the university
