Harris Health, Baylor College of Medicine, and UTHealth Partner with UT Dallas Executive MBA Healthcare Organization Leadership Program

March 4, 2022

UT Dallas first launched the Executive MBA with an emphasis on Healthcare Organization Leadership (EMBA HOL) in 2012. The program was developed in partnership with UT Dallas Organizational Behavior, Coaching, and Consulting (OBCC) and the UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Health and Hospital System beginning in 2015. Since the program’s inception, 192 UT Southwestern and Parkland Health and Hospital System medical professionals have graduated from the rigorous EMBA program designed to prepare healthcare professionals for leadership and management positions.

The EMBA HOL degree program continues to grow and prepare participants to become a driving force for healthcare improvements. Through this growth, OBCC is honored to add a new partner – Harris Health, Baylor College of Medicine, and UTHealth.  As the first Harris Health System cohort to begin their EMBA HOL journey, participants will gain a deeper understanding of key management concepts and strategies from a healthcare perspective and develop their ability to lead at all levels. Dr. Esmaeil Porsa, President and CEO of Harris Health System (and a 2017 EMBA graduate of the program), was instrumental in bringing this opportunity to Harris Health, Baylor, and UTH.
