Date: Thursday, January 25th, 2024

Time: 5:30 – 6:30pm CT

Developing a strong leadership pipeline is an important value driver for an organization. No matter how many great leaders a company has, more are needed. Globally, billions of dollars are invested annually in leadership solutions such as leadership coaching, succession planning, purposeful job movement, mentoring, action-learning, and leadership development programs. These leadership offerings are considered the “fuel” that builds strong leaders.

In this executive forum, we will look at how one organization – Harvard Business Publishing – works with its clients to build leadership programs. Here are some questions we’ll discuss in the forum:

  • What’s the overall mission and purpose of HBP and how does your team and role fit within the mission?
  • What leadership model/approach do you use to guide the curriculum design of the leadership programs HBP offers?
  • Most learning and development offerings are based on an underlying learning model. What model(s) do you use?
  • How does your organization engage with clients? What consulting model/approach do you use?
  • How does HBP go about conducting needs analyses to understand client needs?
  • Walk us through a typical program design – how do you move from needs analysis to objectives to curriculum to delivery to evaluation?
  • What did you learn at UTD that set you up for success and what advice would you give current students on maximizing the program?

The guest for this executive forum will be Danielle Eldridge, a leader in organization agility who has spent ten years leading international cross-functional teams in the technology industry.
