TEAM COACHING PRACTITIONER PROGRAM

 This is a 20-hour virtual course program (8 two-hour live Zoom sessions + 4 hours asynchronous self-paced online learning) offered to participants within the UTD graduate and business community who are currently practicing team coaching in organizational settings. Registrants may include internal coaches, HR and L&D professionals, team leaders and external coaches.

  • A scholarly researched & evidence-based framework used as core curriculum content (6 Team Conditions)
  • Certification awarded in a scientifically validated diagnostic tool (Team Diagnostic Survey TDS)
  • Course participants are team practitioners, currently working with teams (participant requirement)
  • Live sessions focus on team cases brought by course participants for group supervision and peer consultation, designed and facilitated by a Master Practitioner

The course is designed for the team professional in practice. As a result of taking the course, you will:

  • Learn the 6 Team Conditions Framework, based on research from Harvard scholars and practitioners, that identify 6 conditions that together predict up to 80% of a team’s effectiveness.
  • Become certified to administer a scientifically validated diagnostic survey that will give you rapid insights into how you can take your team to the next level.
  • Receive one complimentary survey to administer with a team of your choice and receive debriefing support and feedback during the course.
  • Engage in team coaching group supervision, peer consultation and reflective practice methodologies using real time client cases brought to each session.
  • Gain support, insights, consults and team facilitation tips from a Master Practitioner
  • Become eligible to participate in the 6 Team Conditions Community of Practice including bimonthly sessions focused on research, client cases and innovative delivery methods.
  • Be awarded a university-based team coaching certification that qualifies for as coursework that can be submitted to ICF in application for the Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC)
  • Open to team practitioners: Internal coaches, HR and L&D professionals, Team Leaders, and External coaches.
  • Must currently be working with a team client for case study work that will be utilized in live sessions of confidential group supervision, peer consultation and reflection.
  • Complete the asynchronous modules for Team Diagnostic Survey (TDS) certification.
  • Complete an online application.

David brings 20+ years of organizational coaching experience as a Master Certified Coach (ICF credentialed) based in the New York City Metropolitan area. His work in coaching executive and senior leadership spans internationally across a diversity of industries including financial services, insurance, communications, public relations, music, fashion, consumer goods, technology, consulting firms (big 4), mining, bio-tech, shipping, health care and world agencies.

David’s approach to leadership development is focused on performance with integrity to align the business, organization, teams, and leadership to simultaneously hold an authentic public and private stance in work and life; where the two meet is where the integral leader lives. It is this space that leaders and their teams inhabit that requires truth-telling, safety, structure, and communication mastery.

Leveraging over two decades of coaching, finance, ethics training and theatre performance, David has had the honor to structure and teach in the organizational coaching programs at Columbia University and University of Texas at Dallas, guide and coach more than 1,000 senior leaders in more than 30 countries, train 5,000+ executive coaches and create results for more than 100 organizations. His multilingual (English, Spanish, French) skillset benefits a global client roster and is applied to the nuances that exist within various cultural landscapes.
